About Jason Halpern

A third-generation real estate professional based in New York, Jason Halpern is the founder and managing partner of JMH Development, through which he has acquired and developed numerous historically significant landmark buildings in areas like Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Miami Beach, Florida. Some of the projects include a 55-unit luxury condominium in Surfside, Florida; a boutique building with five luxury residences in Brooklyn, New York; and Townhouses of Cobble Hills, which includes nine luxury townhouses, four of which were historic buildings restored and renovated. Jason Halpern is particularly sensitive to the historic aspects of JMH’s buildings and works to ensure they remain intact when possible.

In addition to his professional pursuits, Jason Halpern is a philanthropist who has contributed to several charitable causes throughout his career. He has personally donated to the Joel A. Halpern Trauma Center at the Westchester Medical Center.

Mr. Halpern’s company, meanwhile, launched a partnership with the nonprofit water in 2015 that involved a $20,000 donation from contracts signed at JMH’s Three Hundred Collins residential development in Miami. The donations have since helped deliver clean and safe water to more than 650 people in Nepal and Ethiopia.
